First, we need the usual: so please upload your completed application – including your last two school reports and all your internship certificates/assessments – to our online job market. Our instructors will then look at your documents and, if appropriate, invite you to our candidate selection day. We will take a whole day to get to know you and the other candidates and do some tests. If we think we could have a long-term future together, we will call you shortly after the selection day. And hope that you share this feeling.
We always start searching for apprentices and candidates for dual study programmes one year in advance. We advertise training places from 1 July one year before the courses start – in other words, ideally you should apply as soon as possible!
We take on around 40 trainees every year. This includes students on the dual study programmes we offer.

• Year 2 of training course € 1,079
• Year 3 of training course € 1,110

It depends on the profession you want to learn. Commercial professions require at least a good school ESA (German certificate of secondary education taken at 15 years of age, or equivalent) while the technical and commercial professions require at least a good MSA (German certificate of secondary education taken at 16 years of age, or equivalent). If you are interested in a dual study programme, you will need to have at least a higher school leaving certificate (e.g. A-Level or vocational baccalaureate diploma taken at 18 years of age).
Every profession has its own instructor. This person will be your first point of contact for all matters relating to your training and the planning of your placements in the company. You will be supervised in the department where you are working by one of our 120 training officers.
We believe it is always extremely important for there to be feedback in both directions. But apart from that, you will receive regular feedback from your instructor. This will take place both during and after your placement in a department so you will always have the opportunity to develop your abilities.
Our trainees receive an allowance for a HVV-Proficard for use on local public transport services. You will also be entitled to holiday and Christmas bonuses – even during your training. In addition, we will provide protective footwear or industrial clothing, if required. If necessary, we also provide laptops to many of our trainees and students on dual study programmes.
An internship abroad can really turbo charge your training, that’s why we help you to do this in a variety of ways. But, as you can imagine, it is very important to us that it is relevant – both technically and in terms of content – to your apprenticeship or degree.
100%, to be precise. At the moment, we have a collectively agreed commitment to trainees. This means that we will offer you a contract with our company for at least 12 months after you successfully complete your training.
There are all kinds of ways to develop your abilities at Hauni. We help you to improve your language skills or learn a completely new language – or participate in seminars to develop your personality. In addition, we award scholarships each year. You can apply for these in order to supplement your apprenticeship with a dual study programme. However, we have no such thing as a typical career path: you will find former apprentices and graduates of dual study programmes at almost every level of the company – from mechanics to Members of the Executive Board. So your career path primarily depends on one person: you.
