We are true makers and explorers
The creativity and commitment of our employees are the key to our success. That's why we do everything we can to offer ideal working conditions for our employees: an inspiring work environment, excellent career opportunities in Germany and at over 20 locations around the world, training, education, professional development and, above all, the space to share ideas, visions and innovations and put them into practice. Our efforts have already won awards in Hamburg-Bergedorf and our location in Hungary.
Our headquarters are in Hamburg, the gateway to the world. With our locations, we are represented around the world and support our employees in seeing as much of it as possible.
The people at Hauni are the cornerstone of our success. That's why we invest in development and further training. We offer around 1,900 training and professional development courses to enhance the competence of our employees.
We take our responsibilities to society seriously and are making our contribution. Many of our employees do voluntary work – on company time. We are working continuously to reduce our carbon footprint. But, because we know it can never be enough, we are constantly looking for new solutions to achieve greater sustainability and more environmentally-aware management.
Healthy and physically active – that’s how we like our employees. And that’s why Hauni offers a wide range of sports and fitness facilities, as well as a company doctor for Hamburg and the surrounding area at its Bergedorf location.
As one of the world's leading machine builders, we continuously work on innovative solutions. And because innovation requires freedom, we give our designers the space they need.
Our employees volunteer for charity and community work on company time – e.g. for the “Wi mook dat!” day of action organized by Hamburg companies. Hauni is not a listed company but part of the Körber Foundation. It stands for social responsibility and supports strategies based on sustainable and profitable growth.
Agile thinking and actions. We’ve been promoting agility for years by using the “Scrum” method in our product development. We have adopted this process from software development in order to implement projects quickly and with a clear focus.
We have exceptionally loyal employees – and are proud of them. At our Bergedorf location, the average employee has been with us for around 20 years! Not many companies can claim that.
Digitization is an integral part of our future. This means pioneering new paths that diverge from the old ways and also becoming a technology leader in digital products. We are taking advantage of this opportunity and playing an active role in shaping the future of the tobacco industry.
