My field of responsibilities:
My tasks include providing advice and selling products from the entire Business Area Tobacco to independent customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In doing so, I encounter all kinds of customers: everything from traditional, small family businesses to state monopolies with several thousand employees. I work with local agents as well as directly with the customer. Initially I identify the potential of customers and establish with them what technical requirements they have. Next I prepare appropriate offers and present the customer with our technical solution. Of course, I also conduct the final negotiations with customers and negotiate the sales contracts and conditions. In this way, I support customer projects from the idea to successful implementation on site.

My working day:
At the office it is often a matter of firstly clarifying the offer details internally and preparing appropriate offers. In addition, I coordinate with other companies in the Business Area Tobacco. Of course, I also look after customers visiting Hauni in Bergedorf. As Sales Manager I travel regularly – it is not uncommon for me to be on business trips for up to 100 days a year. I meet customers all over the world, identify sales potential and present new products.

My path to Hauni:
I have worked for Hauni since early 2012. Before my path led to Hauni, following my integrated degree programme I worked for a family business as a business manager. However, I was then keen to discover a large company that is managed according to professional structures.

For me there were and still are several crucial factors in my decision to choose Hauni. Firstly, Hauni is a global market and technology leader in the area of cigarette machines, and secondly, Hauni offers technically impressive products and gives me personally the opportunity to work in an international context and to meet new people from different countries and cultures.
