Jürgen Spykman

Chief Executive Officer

Jürgen Spykman has deep roots at Hauni. After studying industrial engineering in Germany and England, he joined the company in 1993. A native of northern Germany, he led several departments at Hauni Richmond in the USA before being appointed to the Management Board of Hauni Maschinenbau GmbH in 2009. Jürgen Spykman has been Chairman of the Management Board at Hauni since 2016. Both professionally and personally, he believes it is important always to remain flexible, to learn and to grow. He understands that it is vital for Hauni to be flexible and proactive in responding to new market requirements – especially in this era of digital transformation and rapid change.

Dr. Jürgen Heller

Chief Sales Officer

As Chief Sales Officer, Dr. Jürgen Heller is responsible for the areas of sales, service, engineering and marketing. Even as he was completing his degree in mechanical engineering in Stuttgart and Chicago, he knew that sales would be his passion. Before joining Hauni in 2002, he worked for a medium-sized textile machine manufacturer, at the interface between technology and sales, for almost ten years. Born in the German state of Hesse, he believes success has to be built by a team – a global cadre with a passion for shared achievement, which values trust and openness, and ensures that each member has the space they need to express their ideas and talents.

Dr. Martin Hermann

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Martin Hermann is responsible for the areas of research & development, production, and initiatives to improve efficiency in operational processes. After studying mechanical engineering in Stuttgart and London, Hermann was also employed as Chief Technology Officer at H. Stoll GmbH & Co. KG in Reutlingen. He moved to Hamburg and joined Hauni in 2012. Since then, he has been the Member of the Management Board responsible for technology. Hermann encourages and expects a high level of innovation – the wealth of ideas that have established Hauni’s outstanding global reputation and made the company a leader in technology and innovation.

Dr. Günter Schweitzer

Chief Operating Officer

Günter Schweitzer is responsible for production and manufacturing, for all purchasing and procurement functions, and for Hauni’s quality and process management. After receiving his doctorate in mechanical engineering, he was first employed by the automotive supplier GKN and then by Hilti AG in various operation and supply chain functions. He joined the Körber Group in 2013 before moving to Hauni in 2015. As Chief Operating Officer, he has been a Member of the Management Board since September 2018. As a true “operations man”, Schweitzer is striving to develop optimum customer-to-customer processes which reflect both technological innovations and the growing demands of the market. The continuous improvement process is a key part of this strategy.
