Jürgen Spykman has deep roots at Hauni. After studying industrial engineering in Germany and England, he joined the company in 1993. A native of northern Germany, he led several departments at Hauni Richmond in the USA before being appointed to the Management Board of Hauni Maschinenbau GmbH in 2009. Jürgen Spykman has been Chairman of the Management Board at Hauni since 2016. Both professionally and personally, he believes it is important always to remain flexible, to learn and to grow. He understands that it is vital for Hauni to be flexible and proactive in responding to new market requirements – especially in this era of digital transformation and rapid change.
Dr. Jürgen Heller
Chief Sales Officer
As Chief Sales Officer, Dr. Jürgen Heller is responsible for the areas of sales, service, engineering and marketing. Even as he was completing his degree in mechanical engineering in Stuttgart and Chicago, he knew that sales would be his passion. Before joining Hauni in 2002, he worked for a medium-sized textile machine manufacturer, at the interface between technology and sales, for almost ten years. Born in the German state of Hesse, he believes success has to be built by a team – a global cadre with a passion for shared achievement, which values trust and openness, and ensures that each member has the space they need to express their ideas and talents.
Andreas Panz
Chief Technology Officer
As Managing Director, Andreas Panz is responsible for Research & Development and Secondary Engineering. After completing his apprenticeship as a power plant electronics technician, Panz studied Control Engineering in Hamburg before completing a further Engineering degree in England. After working at various companies, including the Helmholtz Centre and Philips, he joined Universelle in 1996 as a design engineer for machine control systems. He then became Managing Director until taking up his new position. In addition to the rebuild business in Schwarzenbek and at Hauni Malaysia, he was also responsible for the areas of Instruments and Flavor.
