CPMS product portfolio.

The Cigarette Production Management System (CPMS) supports the production process of customers all over the production area. Whether at operator, supervisor or management level, all decisions are based on relevant information in real-time. In order to meet changing customer requirements the Hauni CPMS portfolio has been adapted which allows to compose a production management system according to specific customer requirements.
The new framework ITC (Information Transport Controller), accommodates all other CPMS modules (see below) and realizes a communication and synchronization platform. This structure makes it easy to include new tasks into the CPMS portfolio or to modify existing functions to the specific requirements of an application.
The MCS (Machine Communication Server) module establishes machine communication and makes the data available for superordinated tasks. This module not only transfers data from/to the machine, it also adjusts the data from different machines into a common data representation for superordinated tasks, such as shift and brand management.
Tracking & Tracing module, a highly sophisticated task, fulfils regulatory and complaint management requirements.
QBC support monitors the complete material supply to the machines and controls the brand change process. It minimizes material transportation as well as the number of half-finished goods, while significantly reducing the brand changeover time.
Data Collection Control and Database, Shift/Break Management and Brand/Recipe Setting and ERP Connection are further CPMS modules. The portfolio is rounded off with Reporting, Supervision & Alarming and Excel File Creator functions.
