KDF-M achieves record-breaking results in customer qualifying test

The KDF-M double-track filter rod maker excels at producing either black or white filters and has been performing exceptionally well at customer locations worldwide since its launch in 2009. Recently, however, the KDF-M exceeded its own records by passing a key qualifying test with flying colours.

In tests conducted over 60 consecutive shifts, this M-generation machine achieved an average efficiency of 98.1% with only 0.21% waste. Overall equipment efficiency (OEE) was 91%.

The customer was more than satisfied too by the very low standard deviations for pressure drop, weight and diameter of the filter rods. During the test over 240 million top quality filter rods were produced: each and every one was perfect.
