HBT is a single belt dryer, specially designed to dry, cool and reorder heavily cased Burley strips in a uniform, effective and gentle manner.
A swivelling belt conveyor and a levelling roller ensure an even tobacco layer. The belt drive is controlled by a frequency converter.
Alternatively, reordering can be done in a downstream HT conditioner, which keeps the HBT simpler and smaller.
